# When by OpenApps: a free Doodle alternative

When is a free group scheduling poll. Suggest a few dates and times, share one link, and everyone marks yes, if need be, or no for each time. The best time shows as answers come in, in each person's own time zone. No ads, no sign-up and no limit on polls or people.

Make a poll: https://when-free.openapps.xyz/

## How it works

1. **Suggest times.** Tap the dates that could work on the calendar, then add one or more times for each, or mark a date all day.
2. **Share the link.** Everyone opens it on any phone or laptop, types their name and taps yes, if need be or no. No account, no app. Questions go in the comments.
3. **Pick the final time.** The best time is highlighted as answers come in. Pick it, and everyone can add it to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.

## What you get

- Unlimited polls and participants, with no expiry.
- Yes, if need be, or no for every time; all-day options stay on the same date for everyone.
- Times shown in each person's own time zone, with the zone named.
- Comments under every poll.
- For the organizer: edit times without losing answers, close or reopen the poll, remove an answer or a comment, download every answer as a CSV file, and an admin link to manage the poll from another device.
- The final time as an .ics file, a Google Calendar link and an Outlook.com link, plus a message to share with the group.
